'Strolling
magic' or 'close-up
magic' is ideal for functions
in a restaurant or restaurant-type
setting and also Rene's speciality. He has been a resident magician at
three venues in and around London and also appeared weekly at Mangostin
Asia, an upmarket restaurant on the outskirts of
Munich specialising in South East Asian cuisine.
In
this setting, René moves freely between tables
greeting guests with amazing magic and, at the same
time, engaging them in small talk. Everything happens
very close-up, even in their hands. For example, two
elastic bands mysteriously link and unlink, signed cards
appear stuck to the ceiling and rings penetrate through
the walls of balloon animals.
Should
the food arrive during one of his mini table-top shows,
he will quietly leave and let the quest enjoy their
food; after all, that is what they are there for! René
can entertain up to about 40 guests per hour in this
way.
If
you are looking for magic entertainment for a cocktail
party or reception then 'close-up
magic' is ideal for this too
